Student Voices and “No Excuses” at Center of Amarillo’s American Graduate Effort

To address Amarillo’s high dropout rate, KACV teamed up with local partners (including the Amarillo Independent School District), produced broadcast and social media content and tapped two strong forces for educational change in Amarillo -- Damen Lopez’s growing No Excuses University Network of Schools and students themselves through a Student Video Contest.

CPT12 Spotlights Challenges LGBTQ Teens Endure to Stay in School
