New Social Media on NCO Site |
| |

We've added two new social media tools, Delicious and Twitter, to the mediaengage.org homepage. Here's what they do:
The link at the top of the page is Delicious. Click it and you'll see a list of bookmarked Web sites we think will be valuable to you. This month's list is organized around the topic of Financial Literacy. Next month, we'll feature a list around a different topic. Delicious is meant to be shared. You can click on the SHARETHIS icon to send it to other community engagement folks.
In the right corner of the homepage is Twitter, a widget that allows us to quickly update you on what's happening in the world of community engagement and public broadcasting. The updates, or "tweets," are dated and will continuously change throughout the week. We know it takes time to stay up-to-date and Twitter is one way we help you do it most efficiently.

Engaging People around the Election |

Check out Get My Vote: Politics Is Personal, online engagement from NPR News and Wisconsinvote.org. It asks people to reveal what a candidate could do or say to get their vote. The answers are entertaining and informative. Video footage of Whad'Ya Know?'s Michael Feldman opens the conversation and adds to the fun.
