StorySHARE Holds Over 1,000 Stories

In the lead up to the broadcast of Ken Burns’s THE WAR, people across the country have submitted more than 1,000 WWII-related stories to StorySHARE. This number grows daily as people visit the online tool, sharing their stories via written messages, phone recordings and video.

In this video submitted via KACV in Amarillo, Texas, Clara Vick recalls the many WWII-POW camps built across the state.

NCO's overriding goal is to assist public broadcasting stations to provide meaningful community engagement locally, helping to foster new and deepen existing community partnerships.
